Sixth Street Senior Center, AKA 6th St. Activity Center, is a non-profit organization registered in the state of Washington (UBI 601138565) located at 832 6th Street, Clarkston, Washington. Business License

 

As indicated in the organization's original Articles of Incorporation (circa 1957), the purpose of the Center is to "promote the social, cultural, spiritual, economic, physical and mental well-being of the citizens of this community (and Asotin County)".  That seems like a tall order, and we are doing our best to meet as many of those objectives as possible. 

 

Originally established as the Asotin County Gerontology Council, the name was subsequently changed to the Sixth Street Senior Center. Since our community outreach and programs appeal to a wide age range (some events even attracting children), we have added a Trade Name to our Washington registration, "6th St. Activity Center", to more appropriately represent who we are.

 

Our website is https://6thStActivityCenter.org . (Our previous website used the domain name SixthStreetSrCenter.com. That domain now forwards visitors to our new domain.)
